Seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential school-based support within early years and elementary educational settings. This full-time, onsite role requires active Delaware OT licensure and proven experience working in schools, focusing on student-centered therapeutic strategies that enhance developmental and educational success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license (mandatory) with proof required at application
- School-based OT experience, preferably with early childhood and elementary students
- Strong ability to deliver individualized interventions in a school environment
- Reliable transportation with a willingness to commute to on-site locations
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
Location & Schedule:
- On-site position serving early years and elementary school programs in Wilmington, DE
- Options for two positions: one full time in the Early Years Program or split schedule (3 days Early Years, 2 days elementary)
- Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM 4:15 PM
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement occupational therapy plans
- Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to support students functional and developmental needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
- Participate in team meetings and support compliance with school policies
